How do I make an appointment at Cobb Women’s Health
Do you have policy regarding No-Shows for appointments and late cancellations
We kindly ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you miss your appointment, you will receive a verbal warning. You will be charged for the second appointment missed if you fail to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
I’m a new patient. How should I prepare for my first appointment
The best way to come prepared for your first appointment is to complete our new patient forms in advance and bring them with you. New patient forms are available online in our Forms section. We also recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early for your first visit so all your paperwork and insurance information can be processed before your scheduled appointment time. If you are coming in for a pelvic exam and/or pap test, please do not use any vaginal products or have sex for 24 hours prior to your visit.
What should I bring to my first/subsequent visit(s) at Cobb Women’s Health
- Your medical insurance card.
- Any co-payment required per your insurance coverage. We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card, VISA and Care credit.
- We DO NOT accept personal checks.
- A picture ID is required. A valid driver’s license or other acceptable state or federal ID is acceptable.

- A list of current medications you are taking.
- New patients should bring any medical records from prior physicians that you think may be helpful.
